Process Engineer
Broad and dynamic responsibilities within a flat organizational structure
We are seeking a Process Engineer to support Accelink’s increasing focus on R&D and to strengthen their capacity for autonomous development. The ambition is to diversify the product portfolio beyond AWG products, reducing risk and enhancing long-term resilience.Shared responsibility for continuous process development and optimization
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, you will join a team of 4 engineers, and your primary tasks will include:
- Developing new processes on both existing and new production equipment
- Programming the Process Dashboard for process control, including Python coding, data analysis, and statistics
- Setting up and maintaining BOMs in the ERP system (Business Central)
- Maturing and stabilizing production processes
- Troubleshooting process and equipment issues in collaboration with service engineers
- Operating and optimizing process control systems, with emphasis on plasma deposition and PECVD technologies (depending on expertise and interest)
- Extracting, managing, and analyzing large datasets using machine learning tools to support process optimization
- Handling and monitoring chemical processes, including chemical baths for etching and neutralization
- Contributing to process innovation that supports and enables product design innovation.
- Collaborating across departments to ensure new process capabilities align with product development goals
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives through technical insight and data-driven methods
Technical background with semiconductor expertise
You hold a Master’s degree in engineering, physics, optics, or a related technical field. An educational background from DTU Nanotech or SDU is preferred.
The position can be tailored to both experienced professionals and recent graduates currently employed full-time. Regardless of experience level, the following qualifications are required:
- Experience and knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing
- Familiarity with plasma processing, etching, or deposition
- Understanding of chemistry used in semiconductor processes
- Python programming skills or a strong interest in coding with a desire for professional development
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment
- Proficiency in statistical process control
