Finance Director

International project company 

The role of the Finance Director will be to lead and develop the finance function with currently seven skilled employees, and your responsibility will be finance, auditing, treasury, tax, and salaries and you will be responsible for the reporting towards their US stock exchange listed owners (ITW). Furthermore, as a part of the management, you are co-responsible for developing strategies, with your responsibility specifically focused on the data foundation.

Besides the above-mentioned areas of responsibility, you will have the following key tasks:

• Review of accounting and POC accounting (method for evaluating work in progress)
• Accounting review with the management and Business review with US management
• M&A purchase accounting, primarily US GAAP Depreciations & Amortizations
• Review and approval of salary payments
• Transfer pricing
• Danish annual report
• CSR accounting

The success criteria for the position include valid and on time reporting and a solid data foundation, which decisions can be made from, and you ensure thriving, development and good motivation for the employees in the finance department.

Skilled and attentive manager with great professionalism
We expect that you have a strong financial background, and it is a requirement that you have several years of management experience from an international knowledge-heavy project company with full value chain. You can take on a value-adding role in the management team, and you have experience with board reporting and participation in board meetings. It is a clear advantage if you have experience with IFRS/US GAAP.

You have a proactive personality that takes responsibility and drives progress, and you are known for strong stakeholder management skills and work easily and respectfully with people from all levels and parts of the organisation. You are bright, have a strong analytical mindset, and you work well in the range between strategy and hands-on. You master the balance between being dominant, result-orientated and on the other hand being tolerant and pragmatic. You are fluent in Danish and English, and you live within driving distance of Aarhus.
