Leadership, execution, and management of international supply chain

FRITZ HANSEN is a well-known and respected international company located in the Copenhagen region. Today, FRITZ HANSEN designs are sold in more than 85 countries through 2,000 points of sale, including flagship stores and showrooms in Copenhagen, New York, Munich, London, and Tokyo. 

During the last couple of years, FRITZ HANSEN’s focus has been and will be on being a more commercially aware business with market and industry knowledge. As part of the strategy “Good Growth 2025”, FRITZ HANSEN wants to strengthen the focus on Supply Chain. The main ambition of the Supply Chain Director is to secure that FRITZ HANSEN has an effective, sustainable, and optimized supply chain and always has an ambitious and competent supply chain organization. As part of this, strengthen the strategic approach to procurement with a clear focus on sustainability, quality, and cost. 



You will report to the Executive Vice President, Operations and in close collaboration with the team and the rest of the organization you will support FRITZ HANSEN’s strategy. 

Your area of responsibility will be to:
  • Implement strategies and processes within the Supply Chain in alignment with the overall company strategy and goals.
  • Be responsible for development and implementation of the sales & operations planning process (S&OP). Ensure a holistic integration and a close, positive cooperation between the supply chain department and the sales department.
  • Furthermore, evaluate and ensure that the production capacity and stock levels align with the currently forecasted sales, keeping costs and lead times at a minimum. 
  • Drive an ambitious sustainability agenda in the supply chain
  • Establish, maintain, and control procedures, policies, and processes to meet and improve the daily KPIs in the Supply Chain department — and support the strategic KPIs.
  • Secure continuous improvement and development of the overall performance, systems, and relations in the Supply Chain according to the company's strategy.
  • Assess and develop the competences and attitudes of the internal organization, ensuring the organization aligns with the needs according to the overall strategy.
  • Be strategically responsible for all transports and consolidations of warehouses. Moreover, support the holistic integration and close cooperation between the company and their supply and service partners (3PL).
  • Develop, challenge, and ensure that the company has the best supplier portfolio based on quality and price, in collaboration with the production unit.
  • Continuously develop the supplier base, ensuring it is always possible to get the necessary products delivered according to the strategy.
  • Be responsible for the stock level in Asia and USA.
You have significant professional insight, great leadership skills and you can execute

You have significant professional insight in an international supply chain and service function, preferably from a production company with significant focus on customized solutions/orders. Furthermore, you have strong leadership and people management skills and can execute and run important change management projects.

You work systematically and structured. You possess the ability to understand complex details, but you also manage to see the big pictures and the opportunities. You are business oriented, have relevant supply chain skills as well as the ability to translate ideas into concrete projects and solutions.

Preferably, you have an educational background as either MSc (Econ.) or MSc Logistics from Business School or production engineer, MSc Engineering, however, it is the right personality that matters. Furthermore, you master English at negotiation level, are willing to travel and have a proven track record in a similar role in a global company. Experience with working abroad in an international context outside of Denmark is seen as a plus.
