Quality & Compliance Manager

International assignment in Danish company – newly established position

You will be a part of the global supply chain organization in Middelfart and report to COO. The area of responsibility is material quality, compliance, and risk management, and you will be the driver of creating a culture of continual improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation within the quality and compliance area with a constant focus on sustainability and the global ESG agenda. 

Among others, your key tasks will be:

• Quality
  • Quality management and handling product quality complaints
  • Product traceability and supplier audit
• Compliance
  • Ensure that all products comply with all legal, regulatory and ethical standards and update business processes to ensure compliance
  • Ensuring correct product markings and descriptions for all markets 
• Sustainability
  • Corporate sustainable reporting and securing a sustainable supply chain
  • Drive initiatives that will minimize the environmental impact and social responsibility projects that support the Sustainable Development Goals in the company

You have some years’ experience from a similar position in an international company with responsibility for quality and compliance within a related product area, and you have some experience with business partners/suppliers in Asia. You have the natural poise to take the lead on projects, and you have a global mindset, good cultural understanding, and are well-travelled. Focus on sustainability and a proactive working style is something you are known for, and you have a special ability to get important stakeholders on board. 

You have a relevant education at minimum bachelor level, and you communicate fluently in English and can communicate in Danish. 20-40 travel days annually should be expected.
