Business Finance Manager, Performance Management

New Manager in Performance Management
The position as Business Finance Manager is a newly created position anchored in Corporate Financial Planning & Performance Management (CFP&A), Business Finance. CFP&A is responsible for management reporting, corporate financial planning, performance management and business partnering towards the CFO.

The role is global and will have a broad exposure within all Finance organization as well as senior executives in Novozymes and potentially interface to external business partners e.g., consultants.

The job will be located at Novozymes HQ in Bagsværd.

You report to Head of Financial Planning & Performance Management and your areas of responsibility and tasks will among other things include:
  • Drive and mature the newly established Performance Management process in close collaboration with finance functions across Novozymes
  • Support coordination and execution of the forecasting processes and incentive programs
  • Play a key role in the corporate quarterly business review process. You will own process facilitation, tool development and stakeholder alignment
  • Coordinate the full Business Review Meeting plan with Business Finance, ensure all input providers know when to update what and how in the Executive Management pack
  • Engage in strategic KPI update in collaboration with Corporate Strategy and challenge received input as needed
  • Influencing the digital journey and drive best practices
  • Drive ad hoc financial analysis and projects.
You must value working in teams and not be afraid of challenging both yourself and others.

Ability to operationalize, operate and develop Performance Management
You have an educational background at master’s level in Finance, Economics, MBA or equivalent with a good result. You have 4-7 years of experience in Business Finance or Strategy and experience from a larger, complex organization. For example, it can be within pharma, medical or a consulting house. You have demonstrated skills and experience with facilitating and driving larger processes. You possess a solid financial and economic toolbox.

You have a genuine CFO mindset: Solid understanding of financial analysis and true interest in how to drive value. You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills as you will be working with all layers in the organization, and you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are diligent and have an eye for the detail while always being mindful of the big picture and what really matters to create value.

You are a team player who enjoys working in a team with an agile mindset, you embrace changes and thrive with tight deadlines. You have a robust personality and ability to challenge stakeholders.
