Spearhead the team and expand the business
Reporting to the CEO Riantics is looking for a Sales Director to lead the commercial activities of system integration and Layer Picker Solutions. You manage a competent team of eight employees within sales, marketing and product management. And you are obviously a member of the management team of Riantics.
Your primary tasks are
defining the strategic initiatives of the business area, setting the goals and following up in close collaboration with the management team.
managing and developing the team. You will secure the right competences to carry out the strategy and hire people accordingly. The team is expected to grow in the future years.
contribute to the development of the concepts of Riantics – value propositions, service offerings and technological improvements.
gaining market insights by working closely together with your colleagues and with strategic customers.
You are responsible for the performance of your business area which is a highly prioritised segment with potential for growth.
Commercial leader with technical insight
The ideal candidate already has experience with selling complex technical solutions in an international perspective. You are comfortable with handling large customers and complicated contracts. And you are willing to visit markets to gain the knowledge necessary to grow the business (expect 60 days of travelling per year).
Some experience with managing a sales team is required. And a certain knowledge about doing business in an international context is also necessary.
Your education is probably as cand.merc., MBA, or HD(A), but a technical education followed by relevant commercial responsibility is also an option.
This position offers you a chance to play a key role in an ambitious company. You will enjoy having a high degree of freedom as well as clear objectives. The right candidate influences not only the commercial activities but becomes a central figure in the development of Riantics.
