Site Manager – International Manufacturing Company

Lead a key Scandinavian production site with advanced technology and and take it to the next level in terms of efficiency, culture, and performance 

Amcor is a global leader in advanced packaging solutions and is looking for a Site Manager to lead its production site in Randers. A well-established site with around 185 employees, advanced injection-moulding technology, a high degree of automation and a strong position within the Scandinavian organisation.

Efficiency, Automation, and Sustainability
As Site Manager, you will have full operational and strategic responsibility for Amcor’s production site in Randers, with 12 direct reports. The site is a key player in Scandinavia and is recognized as a front-runner within robotics, automation, and high-volume injection-molded packaging production.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement, automation projects, and cultural development. You will report to the regional leadership and be part of a Nordic management team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the region.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop the site leadership team to drive performance, efficiency, and engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement, Lean, 5S, visual management, and follow-up on operational KPIs.
• Identify, specify and implement automation and new technology projects 
• Manage site budgeting, forecasting, and CAPEX investments in close collaboration with key functions.
• Maintain constructive relations with employee representatives, trade unions, and local stakeholders.
• Foster a positive and collaborative site culture aligned with company values.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to operate effectively in a complex global matrix organization with multiple decision-making layers, international stakeholders, and monthly KPI reporting requirements.

Analytical, solution-oriented and a can-do attitude
You have a relevant educational background, preferably a master’s degree in engineering or a degree in management or business administration. You have solid experience as the overall leader of a production site within an international company, accustomed to working in a complex matrix organization.

You have experience from the process industry or other high-volume production environments, combined with a solid understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices, and know how to effectively drive efficiency and performance in a production setting. 

As a leader, you are motivational and result-oriented, capable of balancing strategic priorities with hands-on operational leadership. You communicate clearly across all levels, build trust, and foster engagement. You are analytic and structured by nature, and possess a strong commercial understanding, enabling you to understand the business as a whole.

You speak and write Danish and English fluently and are able to manage a leadership in a 24/7, five-shift production environment. The site is located in Randers.
