Director, Corporate Communication
You will join Faerch at a pivotal time, with a unique opportunity to shape the company’s corporate narrative, strengthen its external positioning, and influence how Faerch is perceived across markets and key stakeholder groups.The role offers direct exposure to senior decision-making and the chance to act as a trusted communications adviser on strategic priorities, leadership communication, and industry positioning.
With responsibility for a small communications team and a central role in further professionalizing the function, you will combine strategic influence, leadership, and hands-on delivery in a business with strong relevance within circular food packaging and sustainability.
Lead the communication agenda in an international, sustainability-driven business
As Director, Corporate Communication, you will be responsible for shaping and articulating Faerch’s corporate narrative around circular food packaging systems and strengthening the company’s external positioning in relevant industry and policy discussions.
The role combines strategic advisory with hands-on execution and requires the ability to translate Faerch’s value proposition, sustainability agenda, and commercial priorities into clear and credible communication.
You will act as a trusted communications advisor to the CEO and senior leadership, ensuring that Faerch’s messages are relevant, consistent, and impactful across external and internal channels.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Strengthen and articulate Faerch’s corporate narrative around circular food packaging systems.
- Translate strategic priorities, sustainability initiatives, and business developments into clear and compelling communication.
- Position Faerch and its leadership in relevant industry, and sustainability discussions.
- Ensure alignment between corporate communication, sustainability priorities, and regulatory developments.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant international business, trade, and industry media.
- Identify and drive proactive media and thought leadership opportunities.
- Develop leadership communication, including articles, opinion pieces, speeches, and key messages.
- Lead internal communication supporting Faerch’s strategy, business priorities, and transformation initiatives.
We are looking for an experienced communication professional with a strong track record in corporate communications, PR, or a related field. You have at least 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably from a complex or international business environment, and you communicate effortlessly in English, both written and spoken.
You are a strong writer and storyteller who can turn complex business, regulatory, and sustainability topics into clear, credible, and compelling communication. You have solid experience advising senior stakeholders and supporting executive communication across speeches, articles, presentations, and key messages, as well as proven experience with media relations and reputation management.
As a person, you bring strategic depth, sound judgment, and the ability to bring structure, substance, and direction to communications processes. You are curious about the business, structured in your approach, and confident in your advice — while remaining collaborative, pragmatic, and down-to-earth. Furthermore, you thrive in an environment where communication plays an important role in supporting business strategy, strengthening reputation, and shaping industry positioning.
