Senior Director, Product Unit
Lead the transformation and shape a streamlined future product portfolio
End-to-end portfolio responsibility
With direct report to the General Manager of Meat Solutions Europe, you will become a member of the Executive Management Team of the division. You will have overall responsibility for the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, including the development and strategies.
You will have managerial responsibility for 21 employees across the teams Sustainment, Product Specialist, Quality & Compliance, Automation, and CAD.
Close collaboration with Commercial and Aftermarket aligning customer requirements and market demands
Your key tasks will be a combination of leadership, driving a transformation towards a more commercial product unit approach, with close collaboration across departments to ensure the feasibility of new solutions and stay updated on customer demands. The other part of the role includes operational tasks such as segmentation of customers and products, monitoring market trends and technical developments, and ensuring alignment of products across all platforms.
Experience with engineered-to-order solutions/projects
You either hold a relevant business degree supplemented with experience from technical environments, or alternatively, an engineering degree combined with solid commercial experience.
You have experience with engineered-to-order solutions/projects as well as strong commercial experience with product/portfolio management of technical product development. You have solid experience leading technical specialists and possess strong capabilities within negotiations and contractual matters.
Commercial mindset and being a visible leader in the company
You will be responsible for building and motivating teams, fostering collaboration across departments, and acting decisively when action is required. A commercial mindset and business acumen are essential.
We are looking for an excellent relationship builder and communicator. You show a positive attitude and respect for all functions. Your approach is methodical and structured, yet adaptable when conditions are dynamic.
You will need to be present in Tandslet regularly with the possibility of working remotely for a couple of days during the week. Travel is expected to be around 20-40 days per year, primarily to the Netherlands and Germany.

The Senior Director, Product Unit will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in the group and become an active part of the leadership in the division. You will shape the current transformation and directly influence how the product portfolio evolves moving forward.
