Master Data Specialist – Driving data quality and operational excellence
Do you want to play a key role in shaping high-quality master data processes in a global growth company?
As Master Data Specialist at DAFA, you will take on a central position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of master data quality across the organization. This newly established role is strategically positioned, and you will refer to the COO.The role will be crucial in supporting the company’s digitalization, process optimization, and ERP transformation initiatives. You will work with colleagues across all functions and geographies, driving consistency, compliance, and efficiency in DAFA’s master data landscape
Your key competences include:
- Analyze and assess existing (AS-IS) master data to identify improvement opportunities. Develop a future-state (TO-BE) plan and lead the project management process to drive implementation.
- Plan and facilitate workshops and activities that support the transition to improved master data practices.
- Ensure and maintain high-quality master data across the group, with clear ownership and accountability.
- Drive and coordinate the master data matrix organization to secure consistency and alignment across functions.
- Act as gatekeeper for releasing master data into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and facilitate efficient processes, structures, and procedures for master data creation and maintenance at group level.
We are seeking a professional with solid experience in master data management, ideally from a production or manufacturing environment. You understand the full value chain and can navigate complex organizational structures while maintaining focus on quality, process, and continuous improvement. A formal education in engineering, finance, or a related field is an advantage, but practical experience in managing master data and driving initiatives across functions is the most important qualification.
You are resilient, self-driven, and proactive, capable of working across multiple organizational levels and influencing stakeholders effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment, balancing structured, methodical work with a hands-on approach. Your energy, curiosity, and strong relationship-building skills enable you to engage teams and ensure alignment, while your focus on results guarantees that initiatives are successfully implemented and sustained.
