IT Manager

Overall responsibility for the IT landscape and development – with primary focus on Business Central

Business Central has recently been implemented as the new ERP system, chosen strategically to support operations with unified and transparent data and processes.
We are therefore seeking an IT Manager who can champion the adoption of Business Central and act as its ambassador across the organization.

Responsibility for the company’s overall IT setup and education of end users in Business Central

Reporting to the CEO, your primary tasks will include:
  • Migrating existing data into Business Central and ensuring user accessibility.
  • Tailoring and configuring Business Central to support the company’s specific workflows and requirements. This may involve developing new features, customizing reports, or adjusting configurations – all within Business Central’s standard framework.
  • Training employees in using Business Central and its associated integrations. This includes both general onboarding and role-specific sessions tailored to different user groups.
  • Contributing to the development of a Shop Floor Management System/Production Tracking App.
  • Providing support and advice in other areas of IT operations and development, particularly concerning Microsoft servers and clients.
  • Optimizing and automating business processes by identifying improvement areas and leveraging Business Central’s functionalities to streamline workflows.
  • Further integrating Business Central with other relevant systems.
Extensive Business Central experience

You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, informatics, information technology (e.g., IT Engineering, MSc in IT), or a related discipline.
Your path to this role may come through either a background with overall IT responsibility, or an IT consulting background with deep expertise in Business Central implementation.
In both cases, you meet the following criteria:
  • Experience in IT with a focus on production processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Hands-on involvement in implementing, troubleshooting, and customizing Business Central solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Central architecture and development, including proficiency in AL (Application Language) and its development environment.
  • A combination of strategic planning and hands-on execution in shaping the IT landscape. This role demands more than just designing roadmaps; it requires delivering tangible solutions.
  • Familiarity with the following platforms is preferred: C#, Python, and JavaScript.

You thrive in a dynamic environment characterized by IT transformation and are comfortable working with an undefined landscape – essentially, a blank canvas. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the solutions you implement are immediately usable. You are outgoing and build strong relationships across departments, fostering dialogue and collaboration.

Shape the IT setup from the ground with opportunity for overall responsibility
The company has not yet committed to a specific model, offering you a chance to design the entire Business Central framework from scratch. The position offers a challenging and rewarding role with standard full-time working hours.

Please note that we only need your CV if you want to apply. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Consultant Casper Olesen at +45 2256 1215.
