Dynamic Plant Manager: Pioneering sustainable innovation in construction

You now have a unique chance to shape the future of the construction industry. You will lead the creation of a new Calcined Clay production facility in Hobro, Denmark.

Dynamic leadership role in sustainable innovation
Working closely with a team of 25 and group support functions, the role combines strategic thinking and operational oversight. The factory is expected to be operational by Q4-2024, with recruitment already underway. This is a dynamic leadership opportunity in a company committed to sustainable production and innovation.

This role covers fostering a positive work environment, implementing robust safety protocols, and minimizing environmental impact. It involves strategic financial management, optimizing production processes, and implementing cost-saving procedures to maximize profitability. The goal is to continuously monitor and improve the financial and operational results of the plant.

A selection of your main responsibilities is:

• Safety and compliance: Prioritize safety and adhere to quality procedures and Danish laws.
• Sustainability and efficiency: Drive sustainability, manage budgets, and reduce costs.
• Strategic management: Develop long-term strategies, manage schedules, and report on KPIs.
• Leadership: Be a beacon in operations, develop the team, and foster diversity.
• Operational excellence: Manage plant assets, focus on key tasks, and lead continuous improvement. Maintain close cooperation with the group team.

Strategy and people management in an international setting
You probably have a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience. You have solid managerial experience, preferably within an international group, and a strong background in personnel management. 

You are passionate about developing and implementing productivity strategies, knowledgeable about quality standards and certification processes, and possess strong financial and analytical skills. You are employee and customer-focused, an inspirational leader, and have a data-driven, disciplined, and structured approach. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage work-life-balance are also essential.
