Global ESG Manager

Unique possibility to influence and execute the ESG agenda in a global market leader firm

As a global company and market leader, Wrist Ship Supply has the obligation – and the ambition – to contribute to the sustainable transition. This had led to the following objectives:
  • Build and execute an ESG strategy that helps Wrist to be recognized as a responsible market leader, business partner, local citizen, and workplace for both existing and potential employees.
  • Ensure own business operations, buildings, and vehicles to gradually reduce the climate impact by 70% towards 2030, culminating in all greenhouse gas emissions to be net zero by 2045.
To accomplish this ambition and objectives, Wrist is looking for a passionate and dedicated ESG person with global experience.

Lead all environmental goals and initiatives

With reference to the Strategy Director, you will primarily be responsible for gathering and steer the organization on the many ambitious goals already identified across the ESG framework over the last two years. A particularly important aspect of the role is to lead all environmental goals and initiatives.

Other key tasks are:
  • Develop and oversee environmental, social, and corporate governance policies and procedures.

  • Develop, maintain and execute regular ESG reporting of science-based targets, both internal and external.
  • Continuously monitor the performance against corporate ESG goals.

Great communicator with experience from an international corporate environment

With a handful years of related experience, you have experience with ESG programs in an international environment, and thereby experience with environmental measurement frameworks and target setting standards. You are also familiar with materiality assessment and strategy development. You have a relevant Master of Science degree, preferably within Engineering.

To succeed in this job, three personal characteristics are particularly important:
You are natural in building and sustaining strong relationships both internally and with partners.

You are able to challenge and impact stakeholders in a nuanced way.
You are a great communicator with an authoritative, factual, and direct style.

Professional and challenging job in an ambitious company

As Global ESG Manager you are offered a professional and challenging job with the possibility to make a remarkable footprint on a sustainable transition. In a positive, informal and international working environment, you will be surrounded by skilled colleagues in a global company with an ambitious growth strategy. It is possible to work from either the company’s office in Copenhagen, at the HQ in Nørresundby or a combination of both. And there is flexibility in terms of working from home 1-2 days a week.

Wrist wishes to be the best at what they do, and everything they do is based on the values of “Hard working, Winning attitude, and Customer orientation”.
