CISO – SystematicOverall responsible for managing and developing information security across Systematic Group with a clear task to take the area to the next level.
With report to the CTO and as a key person in the organization, you will hold a position with attention from the Senior Management and Board of Directors. Systematic is a well-founded and owner-led company with a positive development and internationalization through many years. Today, there are 11 independent subsidiaries across the globe and the headquarter is in Aarhus, Denmark.
A wide job from a strategic level to operational tasks
In close cooperation with multiple stakeholders in Denmark and globally, you must be able to act successfully in a matrix organization, where you set the direction for information security through strategies and policies across the Group. You have the responsibility to make sure information security is a natural part of Systematics culture and assuring security in the product and deliveries throughout the business.
Information security is driven operationally through the IT Development departments, where Operational Security employees are placed along with the internal department for Compliance & Audit.
You will participate in various external committees and internally you will be a part of the management group in Global Business Support. You work as a sparring partner to the Senior Management team regarding the area of information and cyber security.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Taking the lead in transforming the information security area and lift it to the next level
- Developing the general information security strategy
- Driving information security programs and policies in relation to the organisation
- Reporting information and cyber security areas to Senior Management and as needed to the Board of Directors
- Taking the lead in major security incident response situations
- Predicting, assessing, and actively managing new and coming threats – to mitigate risks in relation to the organisation’s mission and target
- Teaching and managing technological risk assessment in cooperation with Senior Management and functional managers
- Developing and implementing ongoing information security training and education for the organisation – and promote a strong information security culture
- Being the organisations “go-to-person” within critical information and cyber security issues
- Staying in close contact with suppliers to ensure best performance and the right line-up
You have solid experience working with information security in a medium-large or larger company and thus have a high degree of professionalism within the area. We expect that your position today is either a CISO-role or a Director/Manager-position or perhaps as a Management Consultant within the area. Regardless of your position today, you are used to stakeholder management within a wide frame and is highly experienced with preparing strategies and working with roadmaps along with actively participating in the implementation of these. You must be able to work from a strategic level to being hands on operationally. Furthermore, you have experience with various models and standards within information security and Risk & Compliance areas e.g., NIST-framework, ISO27001.
As a leader, you wish to develop and work with the co-workers along with developing the organisation. You are able to set a course, create changes and get people on board. Thus, a strong change leader and motivator. You have a sound business understanding and thrive in the field of tension between many stakeholders, where attitudes, pace and culture are quite different. As a person, you are goal oriented and self-motivated and you have great passion about the information security area. You have a proactive working style and a pragmatic approach where you communicate at eye level and have a natural impact on others.
