Our customer is a leading company within its line of business. The group has a DKK 3 Bil. turnover, several manufacturing sites across Europe and approximately 500 employees.

The strategy is clear and aims at growth as well as becoming even more international. There is an ongoing transformation to produce in a more sustainable way. The overall strategy of the group defines several initiatives aiming at reducing the environmental footprint. Further there is a major transformation project to optimise processes and systems across all sites.

The business is profitable and growing.

The group headquarter is in Eastern Jutland.

Senior Financial Business Partner

Financial right hand of the management team

The role as Senior Financial Business Partner offers you the opportunity of working with tasks related to the strategy of the group. You will enjoy having direct access to the decision makers of the group as well as working closely together with a professional financial setup.

The international aspect of the role gives you chance to develop your skills through the collaboration with the local finance teams of the European manufacturing sites. You also have your local finance team in Denmark to support you.

The Senior Financial Business Partner has the opportunity of shaping the role and there is a lot of flexibility in how the job should be done. You get the opportunity of building your skills working in an ambitious group with high professional standards.

Business controlling which makes a difference
Based on internal analyses and bench marking you build a strong understanding of the business. This enables you to support the executive management and the local decision makers.

The main tasks are to
  • have the frequent dialogues with the sites, the CEO, and the finance team
  • perform the follow-up on KPI’s (profitability on products groups, customers, markets, and manufacturing lines)
  • follow-up on the monthly reporting and gain insights
  • drive the analyses across the factories
  • build a deep understanding of the business through the entire value chain
Due to the strategic initiatives the role also offers future implementations. You develop the tools and the processes continuously.

Skilled business controlling profile with an analytical mindset
You already have experience in business controlling and in performing tasks related to production. The ideal background is from a larger company with an international organisation.

Your educational background is a cand.merc. or an HD.

It is important that you have a good professional knowledge about systems, reporting, and IT tools (preferably SAP).

You thrive in an informal and dynamic culture with colleagues who show initiative. Working with different stakeholders across countries and functions comes natural to you.

English at a professional level is crucial, and due to the international perspective, you need to travel 20-30 days a year.
