Strategic Project Manager

A strategic project manager who delivers impact for strategic ambitions
In the GPV strategy team referring to the Group CEO, you are close to top management and other senior managers. The strategy team of three persons is located in Vejle, DK driving the newly launched “Winning our Future 2025+” strategy. The strategic ambition is to grow GPV from DKK 3.2bn to DKK 7.5bn in sales, keep benchmark profitability, and enable a strong sustainability journey as highlighted topics. The strategic project manager is active in driving and delivering in projects and cross-functional tasks in this context.

You work in close cooperation with top management, senior managers and have great opportunities to engage with colleagues from the 18 units in the 9 countries, where GPV operates. In GPV, employees have high influence on their specific projects and tasks, where you:

• Drive a workstream on larger cross-functional projects
• Manage projects in close cooperation with key stakeholders
• Engage in using and improving GPV’s project execution framework
• Deliver well-founded business recommendations to top management and other senior managers
• Support on general strategic and business-critical tasks

It is crucial that the strategic project manager takes ownership, drives and participates in delivering on the topics in a constructive dialogue with stakeholders from different cultures and at all levels in the organisation. The ideal candidate has:

• Experience from a similar position or a management consultancy
• Proven track record in delivering projects in scope, on time and with agreed resources
• Ability to both manage a project in parallel with working on the deliveries
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to communicate in a clear business context
• Proactive, self-driven and takes ownership – while being a team player
• Experience from an international organisation and English language skills at negotiation level
• A Master’s or bachelor’s degree within business engineering, strategy, business development or similar

Travelling up to 20 – 30 days per year should be expected depending on tasks and projects. There are extensive career and development possibilities in a growth-oriented company with global presence.
