Become a key stakeholder in the Finance Strategy for Danish Crown improving the processes for both financial and sustainability reporting.
The plan in Danish Crown is to formalize and standardize financial reporting processes even more in the group, which means that Group Finance in the future will get an even more important role. As Head of Group Finance, you will be the front figure for a team of seven employees all working at the headquarter in Randers. You will be responsible for providing the executive board and board of directors with relevant, high quality financial reporting on the Danish Crown Group.

You ensure valid financial and sustainability data in cooperation with the business entities and other group functions
You will report to SVP, Group Finance & Tax and drive the competent finance team towards more standardized and transparent financial reporting and processes – also including sustainability data.

The primary tasks are:
  • General leadership and development of the employees in the team. Continue the building of Group Finance as a trustworthy and competent finance partner to management and to the business.
  • Responsible for the consolidation of group numbers.
  • Responsible for the monthly Financial Performance Reporting to management and board of directors.
  • Secure that Group Finance is center of excellence for accounting principles and standards under IFRS.
  • Be the contact person and key stakeholder manager to all business entities and other group functions when it comes to improve, automate, and document the finance processes and controls. Moreover, participate in many of the projects initiated to improve compliance in Danish Crown.
  • Manage and actively take part in daily operations.
  • Secure that business visits are performed to support the business entities in making correct and valid financial reports with the right level of compliance.
  • Start up the cooperation with the sustainability team and secure valid sustainability data with the same quality as the financial data. In the long run financial and sustainability reporting is expected to be integrated.
  • Close cooperation with external auditors
Strong leadership profile with strong finance experience
You will be the head of a team with primarily senior profiles, and the leadership role is therefore important and needs special attention. You have broad experience and knowledge across compliance, finance, accounting, tax and legal. Ideally, you have either been in a leading auditing role for 5+ years working with medium-sized or large companies or have extensive experience within finance in an international group.

Actively engaging in daily operation tasks and contributing with structure
As the key stakeholder across departments, you must thrive in an environment with many tasks including many ad hoc tasks. You must be able to work in an informal organization, where your task is to improve formalization and compliance maturity with a structured and strong prioritized decision making. Working as a team is prioritized in Group Finance. The team culture is informal with both a sense of humor and direct communication.
