Global Head of Quality Assurance

Quality management in an international perspective

A newly defined role as overall responsible for the Quality Assurance at Gram Equipment is now open. The position reports to the VP Engineering and Projects, and you are a member of the management team of ‘Engineering and Projects’.

QC is obviously an important element in the Quality Management System. However, QC is managed and executed in the different function areas and is not a part of QA.

The core elements of the QA job are to:
  • Secure an updated Quality Management System. The QMS is based on Share Point and contains the procedures and corrective actions needed. There is a clear opportunity of developing the system to make it even more useful for the business. Gram Equipment has a super user structure which is an important element of keeping QA present in the organisation. In this role you also have daily interaction with the business.
  • Management of QA across the sites and departments of Gram Equipment. There is one Quality Improvement Manager based at the Turkish site who reports to the Global Head of Quality Assurance.
  • Lead the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and secure the certification. ISO is only implemented for one of the product lines, and the roll out to the rest of the solutions is planned to take place in 2022.
  • Secure compliance with all directives and keep updated on legislative issues. Gram Equipment works with external counsel to monitor changes in legislation.
  • Lead the Management Reviews (planning, steering, and following up on actions).
Quality professional with technical skills and people skills

You probably have an engineering background or have acquired strong technical insight through your career. Dealing with legislative compliance is a part of your repertoire since we are dealing with process lines for food manufacturing.

It is crucial that you are a seasoned QA profile and know your way around the systems and the people. You need to have a firm grip on how to create a quality mindset in the organization, and you are second to none when it comes to making QA come alive.

A strong experience with ISO systems is important, and ideally you have driven the implementation of ISO 9001.

You are motivated by the international aspect of the position, and of course you master English for professional use.
