FRITZ HANSEN is a well-known and respected international company located in the Copenhagen region. As part of the new Global Growth Strategy, FRITZ HANSEN wants to strengthen its present and growth in Asia focusing on the main markets Korea, Japan, and China. Therefore, FRITZ HANSEN wants to establish a strong Supply Chain set up in China/Asia and recruit a Supply Chain Manger, Asia.

The newly defined role will report to the Director, Supply Chain and will be responsible for setting up and implementing the supply chain in China. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely together with a lot of key stakeholders as well as the Supply Chain Director and the Executive VP, Supply Chain.

Your area of responsibility will be:
  • Supply Chain, Asia
  • Responsible for local supply chain set up in China / Asia for FRITZ HANSEN´s three product groups Lighting, Accessories and Furniture, including local external production of selected products, supplier network, warehouse setup and external QC control
  • Drive supply chain related projects with a purpose of maturing FRITZ HANSEN´s supply chain in Asia
  • Act as a link between the Sales organisation in Asia and the Supply Chain organisation in relation to tactical and strategic initiatives.
Your primary tasks will be:
  • Develop and drive the strategy to establish FRITZ HANSEN Supply Chain in China and Asia
  • Identify and develop blueprint for FRITZ HANSEN Supply Chain in China/ Asia
  • Align expectations regarding quality, flexibility, costs, and timeline
  • In collaboration with the Quality department to secure that the local produced products are delivered in the right quality
  • Set up and document a structured process that can monitor and follow up on Quality
  • Be the Project Manager on the project “Supply Chain, China”. This will be in close collaboration with Category Managers, the Sales Organisation, Logistics, Planning, and IT.
  • Anchor Supply Chain operation in the existing organisation and as part of this, participate in setting up and document solid supply chain work processes
  • Link between Asia and Supply Chain both operational and tactical
  • The Supply Chain Manager must facilitate a constructive and developing cooperation between all participants in the project.
Your success criteria will be:
  • To establish a great relationship with Executive VP, Supply Chain and Supply Chain Director as well as the rest of the team and organisation
  • To deliver on business objectives and personal KPIs
  • Ensure open information and communication across the organisation/ departments
  • To manage stakeholders and collaborate with them in a proactive and constructive way
You have significant professional insight in an international Supply Chain function from a similar international role with many stakeholders - preferably work experience with other high-end brands within the furniture industry. Furthermore, experience in running major supply chain projects and focusing on building and developing the supply chain. Finally, in-dept knowledge of Chinese/ Asian culture and professional experience with local production in Asia.

As a person you have a strategic mindset and the ability to combine this with at high executing focus and you possess the ability to understand complex details. At the same time, you are analytical and work systematically and in a structured way. You are business-oriented, data driven and have relevant proactive attitude that take the needed responsibility. Furthermore, you have strong communication and change management skills in all levels of the organisation.

Preferably, you have an educational background from Business School, MSc in Economics and Business administration (Cand. Merc.), Technical education e.g., mechanical engineer, MSc Engineering or similar, education at Project Manager level and finally English at negotiation level.
