Finance & Logistics Manager

Leading role in a successful international company
Reporting to the Country Manager, Nordic, you are responsible for the finance department and the logistics/material management department. You are also a member of the Nordic management team.

In the finance department, you lead a team of two professionals. The role includes management and development of all Nordic activities regarding budget, forecast, salary and pension as well as monthly reports. You also take charge of the annual financial report process and the reporting to the mother company. You handle operational and administrative tasks, spearhead improvement initiatives and lead projects focusing on profitability.

Regarding the logistics dimension of the position, you have the Head of Material Management as a direct report. Material Management deals with the purchasing as well as the warehouse function.

It is part of your job to support the business in the region. Performing analyses of pricing structure, stock, costs and earnings is therefore part of your tasks. You collaborate with the Italian headquarter as well as with Finance Managers on other locations to share best practice and secure the right solutions for the group.

Skilled finance professional who thrives with variation
You have a background within auditing, accounting and/or financial controlling. This might be your first step into people management. You are confident with internal and external reporting and have some insight in tax and bank engagements.
  • Your educational background is HD(R) or cand.merc.aud.
  • You have some experience with ERP systems and you possess good IT skills in general
  • Performing analyses in Excel and presenting your findings comes naturally to you
  • English proficiency at a high level – both in speech and writing
Occasionally, you will have some travel activities.
