Head of E-Commerce and MarketingExperienced online marketeer who can set the strategic direction
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of E-Commerce and Marketing is overall responsible of the strategic development and operation of the function with a strong focus on e-commerce/omnichannel, digital marketing, brand rethinking, instore communication & design and creating an inspiring and customer centric on/off-line customer journey.
Silvan has pointed out a new strategic direction for e-commerce, marketing and omnichannel. The situation calls for new leadership to secure further development of these concepts and ideas and implementing them in all corners of the company. You are in charge of an e-commerce/marketing department of 12 employees. Also, you are responsible for the 10 employees in the customer service department and their communication with the customers.
Key tasks of the job
- Lead and develop the team - Secure shared direction and create a high level of motivation
- Create stronger e-com platform which inspires DIY customers and contributes to a higher conversion rate
- Optimize the digital platform and communication to increase digital traffic generation
- Focus on how to provide supreme customer service with a more web-based store.
- Calibration with sales and operations regarding the cross-functional initiatives and optimizing omnichannel experience
- Integration and alignment of off-line, instore, and digital marketing
- Rethinking and strengthening the branding of Silvan
A significant number of all customers begins their journey on silvan.dk. Therefore, the experience with e-commerce, digital marketing and omnichannel has strong relevance. You have a strong management experience and are used to be a part of the central discussions of the company. You have worked with either retail or b-t-c. Experience from similar positions is relevant but also agency experience creating great transformations at the customers could be part of your professional background.
Passioned, curious and bold leader
Marketing and e-commerce in Silvan changes rapidly these years e.g. from strong focus on flow TV and weekly leaflets to digital marketing, e-commerce and rebranding Silvan via the “Create Something” campaign. The new ”Head of” must be able to rethink all activities and inspire the team to see new angles, new initiatives, new possibilities – and to have the courage to be first movers - but also needs to zoom in and identify improvement possibilities and create and manage crucial projects hands-on enhancing the e-commerce platform and the full digital customer journey.
The candidate must be holistic, data driven, analytically strong and able to provide high-level KPI-reporting. To develop the best possible customer experience, a strong customer perspective is key in all decisions.
