You drive growth and improve margins of the Swedish business
As Commercial Manager for Essilor’s Swedish entity, you have responsibility for sales and profit development of the Swedish portfolio. One of your overall tasks is to further develop the lens business. Your customer segment encompasses different types of customers from large optical chain stores to independent eye care professionals. Your success depends on your ability to drive strategic sales supported by our marketing activities towards opticians in Sweden. To get there, you:
- Spearhead, manage and develop the Sales and the Customer Service (CS) teams – in total 20 employees.
- develop, recommend and implement commercial strategies
- translate the strategies into Key Account budget plans
- develop existing customers along with generating new business
- identify new sales opportunities
Reporting to the Nordic KA & Commercial Director, you have direct managerial responsibilities for 7 colleagues in the Commercial team (Sales & CS). You lead and motivate the teams to deliver outstanding performance, and you prepare continuous training of the team members in order to make sure that the right resources are at hand to meet the future demands. You play a vital role in the Swedish entity as member of the local Swedish management team and are a key player in the Nordic Commercial Manager team.
Strategic sales and sales management
Either you hold a commercial master’s degree or other relevant fields of expertise, and you have at least 5 years of experience in a sales related discipline. Here, you have acquired solid experience in B2B2C sales, and if you have had key account responsibility and cooperated with retailers, it will indeed give you a head start. In addition, you have strategic awareness and good business understanding. You know how to plan and organise the work to deliver in time, and you have the passion, the drive, and the communication skills to make it happen.
Equally, you have proven to be a gifted people manager fully capable of creating results through others, relying on your outstanding skills for coaching, motivating and inspiring colleagues. You set direction and make quick, clear decisions that may include tough choices, and you use your power and strong dynamic behaviour to get commitment from others, to generate activity and to implement changes.
You have a natural sense of urgency and are prepared to walk the extra mile to turn high ambitions into solid results.
