Head of Sales & Marketing  - Can you sell optimization software all over the world?

New broad sales role for an agile, global player within mathematical optimization software

Are you geared to further develop and spearhead sales and marketing of advanced and second-to-none software for solution of mathematical optimization problems? Mosek focuses on creating and selling  optimization software that helps customers turn data into smarter decisions.

You accelerate growth of the business at a global scale

Your job will be – in close cooperation with the CEO and his team – to expand the resources within customer-facing activities in order to exploit the great market potential globally and accelerate the growth of the business. In overall terms, you will contribute to developing the entire sales function. Sharpening the market awareness of Mosek will be another one of your large challenges. To be a success, you and your team will increase sales considerably within the next 2-3 years and contribute to the spirit and business across whole Mosek.

To do so, you will

  • Present, promote and sell software to existing customers and establish new customer relationships

  • Negotiate with customers and prepare the contracts together with a lawyer

  • Prepare customer business cases and present technical demonstrations

  • Prepare, organize and participate in workshops and webinars

  • Contribute with ideas of how to brand Moseks awareness in the market

Mathematical/economic background and excellent sales skills

You hold a degree within mathematics, economics, finance, computer science or operation research. Either you have experience selling or purchasing analytics or technical software, or you have experience from the academic/research world regarding mathematical optimization or analytics software. You have a global mindset and excellent communication skills in English, and if you have insight into the financial industry, it will be an extra plus. You are a fast learner and know basic programming in e.g. Python.

You are methodical, meticulous and precise with strong critical thinking skills, and you navigate smoothly in rapidly changing environments. You easily gain understanding of complex technical concepts and transform it into a simpler and understandable form.
