Vice President - Development for Generics

You outline the direction for the function and departments
In headlines you will be responsible for the overall management of strategic and operational business and product development activities within Generics. In detail, you will have three major fields of attention: Leadership, strategy follow-up and operational focus.
Firstly, you set direction and spearhead the organizational development while securing availability of the right resources, competencies, tools and facilities required to meet the set targets. You take the internal cooperation of the units to a higher level.
Secondly, you will develop and implement the product segment strategy and identify and translate possibilities into pathbreaking strategies. Through participation in strategic business meetings you will contribute actively to the direction and performance of the company now and in the future. Moreover, you will secure a pipeline that is in line with the overall financial ambition.
The main criterion for obtaining success will be to build strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals and transition interface and co-operation with all stakeholders while achieving the overall ambitious goals of the organization.
The Vice President of Development Generics will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will join the management team in Commercial Generics together with VP Sales & Marketing.
Ambitious and intelligent change management front person
You hold a commercial or technical education at Master’s level and have spent some years in a comparable position in a similar international company within the generic pharmaceutical industry. Here, you have gained solid business insights together with extensive knowledge of financial and economic contract negotiation which you master in English. On top of that, you have an eye for future business ideas and are able to translate them into ground-breaking strategies.
You are ambitious and self-propelled, and you set direction with a positive “can do” attitude. You thrive well in an international setting and are comfortable communicating well with all levels of an organization.
Your managerial style is based on confidence, commitment and trust, and you use your honest and authentic integrity to create a motivating climate that fosters a high level of performance and accountability.
