Functional Description Specification
Do you see development opportunities, and can you ensure the leading position for GEA Membrane Filtration within its field?
Your base is Skanderborg, where you will be a part of a small FDS/automation group, but you will also join an international team with colleagues in Germany and US. You will refer to the Head of Process & Product Engineering, Membrane Filtration. You are responsible for the link between process and automation. Continuously your focus is to keep all standards and procedures related to FDS standardization up to date. You challenge the status quo to ensure GEA will also be leading within Membrane Filtration in the years to come.
Your main responsibilities are:
• Development of unit specific FDS based on the standard software
• Standardization of FDS process descriptions
• Globalization of the department’s FDS Unit standards
• Online support to customers and commissioning engineers
• FAT on software internal as well as external
• Participation in internal standardization projects
• Trouble shooting
In close collaboration with your team, you prioritize tasks and projects. Your efforts must be reflected in solutions that are both effective and efficient from a cost and time perspective.
You are probably a trained engineer, and/or you have a technical education, within e.g. Dairy or chemicals preferably within membrane filtration. You have gained experience from a similar role, either from a comparable order-producing process company or, alternatively, from a development house providing solutions with similar complexity. You have some experience with a PLC system e.g. from Siemens. You master English at business level.
As a person, you are structured and analytical. You see the big picture, can think holistic and are not afraid to execute your ideas. You are quality conscious and able to think out of the box to challenge status quo. You enjoy working hands-on and master the role as team player in a complex international environment.
