Regional Sales Director – Nordic countries, including Estonia

With full sales and P&L responsibility you will take SurTec to the next level through market expansion
To maximize the growth and profitability of the business in the region, one of your main responsibilities will be to sell a broad product portfolio of solutions within SurTec’s four fields of application. Together with two Technical Sales Specialists you will expand the market and take the company to the next level. You will manage the business through strategic planning and optimal utilization of financial and human resources and will create the annual operating plan. You will be home based and part of a Global Sales team. You will report directly to the CEO of the SurTec Group, based in Germany. Among others, your primary tasks will be to:
- Lead, motivate and show strategic direction to the two Technical Sales Specialists
- Identify and evaluate new markets and opportunities to determine growth potential
- Implement the field sales activity plan, arrange and conduct sales meetings with potential customers
- Manage and expand sales with key accounts and ensure that service levels meet/exceed customer expectations
- Prepare sales forecasts and develop annual sales quotas
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand
Value selling and great entrepreneurial freedom
You have at least 5 years of industrial B2B sales experience of technical solutions within the chemical environment to OEM or OEM suppliers – a variety of industries e.g. within automotive, aerospace, construction/architecture, household, medical, electronics, renewable energies, and mechanical engineering industries. Alternatively, sale of other technology solutions or technical parts to the same industry.
Knowledge of one or more of the above-mentioned fields of application is desired but not required. You have a proven record of sales experience from the Danish and Swedish markets. It should be your passion to sell solutions and their added values. Leadership experience is preferred, alternatively you are strongly motivated to step into your first leadership role.
As a person you are a true relationship builder with a positive attitude. You are convincing, trustworthy and inquisitive, and you have strong skills in consultative selling. You are a team player and enjoy the entrepreneurial freedom. Excellent business acumen, judgement and a goal and action-oriented approach are talents that describe you well, and you manage to deal with both senior management as well as the shop floor.
You will be part of a rather lean and flat global organization, which is part of a solid and financially healthy German group of companies. You are offered a position with great variety in a large successful region with different customers and industries and a realistic opportunity to expand the business.
The job includes approximately 50-60 travel days a year, mainly in the Nordic countries.
