Sales Director for R&D Test Systems
Crucial position with a solid growth case and a vast international market potential
In this newly established position, you will be responsible for scaling R&D Test Systems success in the home market to a global scale and developing and implementing of the go-to-market strategy.
R&D Test Systems consists of 60+ engineers and six Key Account Managers. The focus is to deliver heavy-duty test systems for Wind, Aerospace, Oil/Gas, Mining among other industries.
Be a key driver in an organic growth
You will report to the Business Unit Director for R&D Test Systems and have the general responsibility and management of the sales organization in Test Systems including reports from three Key Account Managers and dotted line from two Key Account Managers in Germany. A significant part of the job consists of own clients, participation in the sales process and key account management. You will continuously develop clear objectives reflecting the company goals and ensure effective field productivity based on solid targeting, segmentation & opportunity management. In addition, your primary tasks among others are:
Your success criteria consist of reaching sales budgets and scaling the success in the home market to a global scale and a creation of a sales culture in R&D Test Systems among others.
- Hands on - Own Key Accounts in markets such as Europe and North America
- Win new customers and projects and qualify the incoming leads
- Map clients and create action plans
- Motivate and advise the team through success stories, losses, market developments, sales approach and opportunities
- Coordinate, support, monitor and challenge budget plans
- Give input for sales processes, tools and procedure improvements
- Run performance meetings, appraisals and field coaching sessions
- Initiate and participate in local and international sales projects
Dynamic Sales Director with a proven track record
You have strong and documented sales results from international project sales within heavy duty industry and you have solid sales leadership experience. You have experience with mechanical solutions, and your background could be from Wind, Oil/Gas, Aerospace or Mining industry among similar industries. You have a technical bachelor’s degree or higher.
As a person you are dynamic, proactive, self-driven, robust, business oriented with an analytical mindset. You are outgoing with strong communication skills and you lead by a good example. You are intelligent, solution-orientated and willing to learn to adapt to changes.
