Head of Aftermarket

– be part of a fast-growing, PE-owned company

Take the Aftermarket business to the next level through a clear professionalisation and commercialisation agenda for an area of strategic importance to the company.

You will report directly to the Sales Director and be part of the commercial leadership team. You will play a key role in shaping Cimbria’s future Aftermarket setup across service, spare parts, and modernisation. The role offers a clear mandate and well-defined success criteria: to professionalise and grow the aftermarket business profitably while strengthening customer relationships and operational performance globally. Substantial international growth potential has been identified in different steps.

Today, the aftermarket business consists primarily of spare parts sales, service activities, and, to some extent, audits of the large installed base across Europe and globally. You will be supported by a strong technical organisation and an Aftermarket team with team leads and employees in Denmark and Austria. The ambition is to build a significantly stronger and more commercially driven aftermarket organisation over the coming years.

Broad job from leadership and strategy development to hands-on execution
You will have the overall responsibility for the area – including strategy, commercial and organisational development, and operational improvements. You will act as a hands-on leader in the daily business with focus on sparring, development, motivation, and creating direction and collaboration across teams and locations.

You develop the aftermarket strategy and set up the commercial concepts and related action plans together with your team. It is essential that you can balance strategic development with operational execution in a dynamic market. You will work closely with your team and key stakeholders in Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing. Your success depends on your empathic and results-oriented leadership style, as well as your ability to meet people at eye level and thrive in an environment where pragmatism, collaboration, and hands-on execution are highly valued.

You will actively participate in sales and customer meetings with key accounts and drive commercial performance through stronger pricing structures, margin management, and sales execution. At the same time, you will drive the professionalisation of internal processes, systems, and workflows in an area that is currently highly manually driven.

Strong track record within commercialising an Aftermarket/Service business
You have a relevant commercial or technical educational background and experience from an international B2B project or production company where aftermarket is linked to industrial equipment and/or machinery. You are therefore used to operating in dynamic environments with high demands on uptime, quality, and customer responsiveness.

You are experienced in developing and scaling an aftermarket or service business, and you know what good looks like in a more mature aftermarket context. You have developed and implemented concepts and action plans, and you have leadership experience from working with multiple stakeholders and driving change in your team.

As a person, you are energetic and resilient with a strong drive to operate proactively in daily business. You are structured and self-driven, and you thrive of “building new” than rather “use existing. You know your number and you possess values like integrity and credibility, which are key values in the organization.

Be part of an exciting international journey with multiple development opportunities
You are offered an exciting and highly influential leadership role in an international company with a great reputation and a financially strong and ambitious owner. Cimbria is currently undergoing significant transformation as part of its ambitious Strategy 2029, in which the aftermarket business is key.

You will therefore have excellent development opportunities over time, and we are looking for a person who wants to grow with the business in the long run.

The role includes approximately 30-50 annual travel days, mainly across Europe.
