Technical Service Engineer
Broad technical exposure, specialized equipment, and autonomous work
We are looking for Technical Service Engineers capable of independently troubleshooting and repairing machinery in a high technology environment. The role is broad in scope and requires a high degree of autonomy, as you may be able to resolve issues as they arise.Joint responsibility for ensuring smooth and continuous machine operation
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your primary tasks will include:
- Daily maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Scheduled preventive maintenance activities
- Support for facility operations
- Troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Improvement and optimization of existing equipment
- Process gas changeovers
- Contact with suppliers regarding spare parts for machinery
You have a relevant technical education, for example as an automation technician or marine engineer, and preferably with vacuum technology and clean room experience.
This position can be shaped to fit both experienced professionals and more recently graduated candidates. Regardless of experience level, you are expected to:
- Possess broad and versatile technical expertise, making you well-suited for complex maintenance environments.
- Be skilled in fine mechanics with strong attention to detail (e.g., gas pipes, precision components, and automated and/or robotics equipment).

This role offers the chance to work with advanced, specialized equipment not commonly found in standard industrial environments. You will gain broad technical exposure, including hydraulics, electrical systems, high-frequency technology, and process chemistry, and develop unique skills through hands-on experience and targeted training with complex machinery.
Shift work
Please note that the position requires you to work a certain degree of shift work in the evening, night and weekend. This shift work is independently planned. After a comprehensive training period, you will be working outside “normal” working hours approximately a third of your working time.
