To meet the demands and ensure that the production lines run efficiently, the company now further strengthens the management level in Operations by hiring a Production Lead for the day shift. 

You will be responsible for a team consisting of approx. 35 employees and team coordinators, and you will report to the Production Manager. 

Through visible and present personnel management, your key task will be to ensure both an optimal operation, focused on increasing productivity without compromising on safety and quality, and a team that is motivated and thriving.

Other key tasks include:

• Scale the department for future growth. 
• Increase quality, productivity, and delivery performance. 
• Set targets/KPIs for what needs to be achieved — embed a good and value-adding performance culture.
• Increase focus on the use of LEAN principles. 
• Developing and retaining key employees, including continuous training.
• Conduct yearly performance reviews as well as 1:1 meetings. 
• Recruitment of blue-collar employees. 
• Participation in the company’s quality, environment, and safety enhancing work.
• Detailed planning for assigned production line.

Your most prominent success criteria will be to gain respect at all levels of the organization and ensure that the cross-functional cooperation is efficient and trustworthy. You are a role model in your department, ensuring it is a well-functioning and attractive workplace where high quality is delivered consistently and without errors.

You have some years of management experience from a company with assembly with a certain complexity. You have a craft background and preferably a theoretical framework on top of that, but good results, relevant experience, and personal qualifications are more important than a specific education. You are used to working with LEAN principles and have a good understanding of IT/ERP.

You are structured and good at keeping an overview. You are a respected people manager with natural authority and presence, allowing you to get people on board — also in a changing and busy environment. You have well-developed communication skills and are able to communicate in both English and Danish.
