VP Service
Global responsibility – management, growth, sales, and development of concepts
The VP Service reports to the group's CEO and leads a large international team having five direct reports. The direct reports are in Denmark as well as in China and the US. You have full P/L responsibility, and you are in charge of the ongoing development of Gram Equipment’s value propositions within service. Your responsibilities include selling service solutions, securing delivery, and collaborating with colleagues across the value chain to secure a high level of customer satisfaction as well as expanding the service business.A substantial part of Gram’s revenue derives from service, including spare parts, service contracts, and upgrades, and this business unit plays a significant role in the group's strategy. The Service business unit delivers a substantial share of the group’s turnover and earnings.
This challenging role offers you a central position in an international company. You deal with large professional customers and work from a global perspective. The pipeline is strong, and there is a great potential to grow the Service business further by strengthening the concepts, boosting the commercial activities, and developing the team.
The job
Your main tasks are:
- Further developing the service strategy and drive the implementation.
- Contributing to the overall business development of the company.
- Identifying business opportunities on the installed base and driving sales initiatives.
- Building strong internal and external relations which also includes customer relationships.
- Performing business reviews of service solutions and drive the necessary adjustments.
- Conceptualisation of new service solutions.
- Developing the Service Portfolio into a Life Cycle Service Concept.
Your profile
You have experience managing a large service unit and you master the development of service concepts for professional international customers. Your strategic skills enable you to engage in projects regarding design for serviceability, service offerings, and general business development. Thinking about commercial activities is part of your DNA.
Your experience comes from working in professional international setups. A master’s degree is preferred. You possess a strong combination of technical insight and commercial acumen. Most importantly, you are ambitious and able to develop a winning team.
Since most of the team is based in Kolding, you must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the company.
