Shape the Future of Industrial Laundry Automation – Lead Mezcada at JENSEN-GROUP

Imagine building a platform where real-time data, AI, and powerful visualizations work together to transform an entire industry.JENSEN-GROUP is looking for a visionary leader to shape the future of Mezcada — JENSEN-GROUP’s next-generation MES/IIoT platform. As Head of Software – Mezcada, you will take full ownership of the platform’s technical strategy, architecture, and development, building and leading a talented team to deliver smart, scalable, and impactful solutions that optimize industrial laundry operations on a global scale.
You will report directly to the Chief Innovation Officer and play a central role in JENSEN-GROUP’s ongoing digital transformation journey.
Mezcada is not just about collecting production data — it’s about making it intelligent, actionable, and visible.
Through real-time insights, advanced visualization tools, and AI-powered decision support, Mezcada empowers laundries to boost efficiency, increase throughput, reduce energy consumption, and move from reactive to predictive maintenance strategies.
As Head of Software – Mezcada, you will oversee the full software lifecycle — from architectural vision to day-to-day operations — ensuring the platform remains modular, scalable, and at the forefront of industrial innovation.
You will drive an agile, fast-moving development process, with the first Minimum Viable Product (MVP) targeted for early 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and recruit a cross-functional software team (backend, frontend, UX, data, DevOps) in an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Lead definition of user value proposition and development roadmap.
- Enable and drive use of AI to assist decision-making and improving of efficiency of the laundry.
- Drive platform architecture and deliver real-time production data solutions.
- Ensure seamless connectivity with industrial machines via e.g., OPC-UA and MQTT
- Define and maintain secure AI interfaces
- Establish modern DevOps practices
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers and stakeholders to align on product priorities.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software, computer science, engineering, automation, or a related field and have at least 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in software development for the physical world. Experience in leading software development teams, combined with a hands-on leadership style, is essential.
