Head of Sales, Nordic
Lead the team and expand the business across the Nordic countries
Advanced technological solutions and equipment within the food industry
GEA has launched an ambitious growth plan and is now looking for a strong Head of Sales, Nordic for GEA Denmark A/S to cover the two business areas Food Packaging & Processing and Flow Components. You will report to the CEO of GEA Denmark A/S and be responsible for several markets across the Nordic region. You are part of the management team in GEA Denmark A/S and will be responsible for significant turnover across two prioritised business areas with high growth potentials. You will be based at the Danish office in Skanderborg and will manage a highly competent team of 5 direct reports in Denmark and 7 indirect reports across the Nordic matrix organisation.
Your primary tasks will be:
- defining and driving future commercial strategic initiatives within the business areas, setting the goals and following up in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- managing and developing the team across the Nordic countries and consistently driving the team to meet and exceed targets
- identify and qualify new opportunities in close collaboration with the sales team
- manage and continuously expand profitable sales with both new and existing clients across business areas and markets
Commercial leader with strong sales track record within advanced technology and/or equipment to the food industry
The ideal candidate is an experienced Sales Manager/Director with solid experience from one of the major international players within the industry. You are comfortable handling and negotiating large projects and contracts and prepared to visit clients across the Nordic countries for 60-80 days per year.
Ambitious and successful sales executives with strong industry experience combined with a desire to further develop their careers in sales management will also come in to contention.

The right candidate influences not only the commercial activities within given business areas but becomes a central figure in the further development of GEA in general.
